Andreia Ribeiro was selected for a Wyeth Fellowship, which will provide up to two years of stipend support as well as mentoring from Wyeth scientists. Andreia is the first student from the Department of Chemical & Biochemical Engineering to receive this award. Congratulations, Andreia! Way to go!
Simon Gray is awarded UMBC Class of 2008 Valedictorian! Simon was also recently selected for a prestigious Gates-Cambridge Scholarship to pursue an M.Phil. in Advanced Chemical Engineering at the University of Cambridge. We couldn’t be prouder, Simon! Congratulations!
